1. Who We Are

Brit Academy is a learning platform offering recorded video courses, live instructor-led sessions, and corporate training programmes. References to "Brit Academy", "we", "us", or "our" are to Brit Academy and references to "you" or "your" are to the person or organization using the Services.

2. Your Account

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may only use the Services with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

2.2 Account Security

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@brit.academy if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

2.3 Suspension & Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, misuse the Services, or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to Brit Academy, other learners, or our instructors.

3. Enrollment & Payment

Course fees are displayed at the point of enrollment and must be paid in full through the payment options available on our website before access is granted, unless otherwise agreed in writing (for example, for corporate or installment arrangements). Prices are subject to change, but changes will not affect courses you have already paid for.

Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis in accordance with our refund policy communicated at enrollment. Please contact support before a course starts if you wish to request a refund or transfer.

4. Access to Courses

For most self-paced courses, access is granted automatically after payment is confirmed and remains available for the access period stated on the relevant course page. Live sessions follow the published schedule and are subject to instructor availability; Brit Academy will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any rescheduling.

Certificates of completion or participation are issued to learners who meet the requirements of the specific programme they enrolled in.

5. Acceptable Use

When using the Services, you agree not to:

• Share your account, login credentials, or course access with anyone who has not paid for it;
• Record, download, reproduce, or redistribute course content without our prior written consent;
• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in a way that infringes the rights of others;
• Disrupt live sessions, harass instructors or other learners, or interfere with the operation of the platform;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services or its underlying systems.

6. Intellectual Property

All course materials, videos, course notes, branding, and other content made available through the Services are owned by Brit Academy or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Enrolling in a course grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access and view the content for your personal, non-commercial learning use.

7. Corporate & Group Training

Organizations enrolling multiple employees or engaging Brit Academy for customized training are subject to these Terms in addition to any separate agreement signed between the organization and Brit Academy. Where the two conflict, the signed agreement takes precedence.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we work to keep our platform reliable and our course content accurate and up to date, we do not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific learning outcome or result will be achieved.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brit Academy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to Brit Academy in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our Services or for legal or operational reasons. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, where changes are material, provide reasonable notice. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
